In loving memory of C. Larry McDonald, who passed away on May 2, 2024. Born on March 17, 1935, in Mooresville, NC, Larry’s journey through life was marked by dedication, passion, and an unwavering commitment to his craft.

Larry’s illustrious career in the fashion industry was a testament to his hard work and perseverance. Starting from humble beginnings in a local textile mill after high school, he rose through the ranks to become the Senior Vice President of Operations for the esteemed Liz Claiborne corporation. His impact on the industry resonated globally, as he traversed the world on his professional endeavors, leaving an indelible mark wherever he went.

Beyond his professional achievements, Larry’s true legacy lies in the love and devotion he shared with his beloved wife of 32 years, Marylou. Together, they built a life filled with joy, laughter, and cherished memories. Larry’s greatest pride and joy were his three children and seven grandchildren, who brought immense happiness into his life.

As we mourn Larry’s passing, we also celebrate the profound impact he had on all who knew him. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit will continue to inspire us all. Though he may no longer walk beside us, his memory will live on in our hearts forever.

A celebration of Larry’s remarkable life will be held for family and friends at a later date, where we will gather to honor and remember the extraordinary man he was.
