Frank Manuel Balladares

Nags Head, NC – Frank Manuel Balladares, 68, of Nags Head, NC, passed away on July 10, 2024, at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. Born on May 31, 1956, in Bluefields, Nicaragua, he was the son of the late Lidia Alfaro Balladares and Francisco Balladares.

He settled on the Outer Banks in 1991 and soon became a cherished member of the community. Frank was the dedicated owner and operator of BKM Financial Services, where he diligently served his clients with unwavering commitment and integrity. His professional legacy is one of trustworthiness and hard work, qualities that defined his character both in business and in life.

A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Nags Head Ward, Frank’s faith was a cornerstone of his life. His spiritual commitment provided him with strength and guidance, influencing the way he lived and interacted with others.

Frank was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Lidia Alfaro Balladares and Francisco Balladares. He leaves behind his loving wife, Maria Balladares; daughter, Karla Henderson (Ryan); son, Moses Balladares (Sarai); and grandsons, Lukas and Manny. He is also survived by his brother, Carlos Balladares, along with numerous friends and extended family who will remember him fondly.

A memorial service will be held to honor Frank’s life and legacy on Sunday, July 21, at 3 p.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 332 W Windjammer Rd, Nags Head, NC 27959.

Frank, “Don Frank”, will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched throughout his life.
