Kerrie Jean Lanigan Daly

Kerrie Jean Lanigan Daly, 56, of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on January 8, 2025. Kerrie was born on May 15, 1968, in Greenlawn, New York, to Donald and Edna Lanigan.

Kerrie graduated from SUNY Binghamton with a degree in political science and earned a paralegal certificate from The George Washington University. She dedicated much of her career to working as a paralegal. Known for her intelligence, compassion, and sense of humor, Kerrie touched the lives of many and was deeply cherished by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Brian Daly; her niece, Chrissy Magalhaes; her great-nephews, Nicholas and Lucas; her mother-in-law, Emilie Daly; and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Chris and Melody Daly. Kerrie also leaves behind many close friends and extended family members who will forever remember her warmth and kindness.

Kerry is preceded in death by her father, Donald Lanigan; her mother, Edna Lanigan; and her sister, Linda Spagnoli. At her request, Kerrie will be cremated, and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Lab Rescue of the Potomac.
