Two from Belhaven bring home wins in State Fair goat competition
NC Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, NC Lifestock Office has announced the winners of the 2019 State Fair pig and goat shows. In the competition, two persons in Belhaven won awards in the goat competition.
In the Junior Commercial Doe – Meat Goat competition, Reagan Glass of Belhaven in Hyde County showed the Grand Champion.
In the Junior Commercial Doe Showmanship Champion for 9-13 years olds, the Grand Champion was shown by Maggie Glass of Belhaven in Hyde County.
In Senior division for 14-18 years olds, the Grand Champion was shown by Reagan Glass of Belhaven, for her second win.
