Basic financial course to begin in May

The NC Cooperative Extension Currituck County Center will be offering a Basic Money Talk Financial Course beginning in May. The five-part course is designed to increase basic financial knowledge and empower people to make savvy financial decisions.

All classes are from 10 a.m. until noon on the following schedule: May 1 – Understanding Your Relationship to Money, May 15 – Money Values and Goals, May 29 – Testing your Financial Fitness, June 5 – Tips for Smarter Borrowing and June 12 – Financial Record Keeping.

Classes are free and will be held at the NC Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center located at 120 Community Way in Barco.
