Outer Banks Chamber celebrates grand opening of new Sherwin-Williams store

The Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce celebrated the grand opening of the newest Sherwin-Williams store, located in Kill Devil Hills, last Wednesday. The ribbon-cutting ceremony heralded the arrival of the brand’s third store in the area.

“Sherwin-Williams continues to expand its presence, bringing its expertise and quality products to the Outer Banks community. The new store offers a wide range of premium paints, coatings, and related products, catering to the needs of homeowners and contractors alike,” stated a news release from the Outer Banks Chamber.

The celebration was attended by community leaders, local businesses representatives and residents. Attendees had the opportunity to explore the store’s product offerings and receive expert advice from Sherwin-Williams representatives.

“We are grateful for the warm welcome we have received from the Outer Banks community,” said Collin Polk, district sales manager at Sherwin-Williams. He also shared that Sherwin-Williams has been in business for over 158 years. Other team members in attendance included David T. Vest, sales representative, and DeShauna Richardo, store support manager.

The Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce serves Dare and Currituck counties and Ocracoke.
