Fall fest in Frisco

A Fall Festival Fundraiser drew locals and visitors for an oyster roast and barbecue and costumed children for an early Trick or Treat.

Staged at the Frisco Woods Campground, prizes were distributed for the most decorated campsites; children bounced in a house; more children selected a pumpkin to mark; and adults gathered for a pleasant Saturday with friends. Frisco volunteer firefighters brought a truck and raised the United States flag. Rory Kelleher played acoustic guitar and sang classic hits.

Proceeds from the festival benefit the Frisco-Buxton Pathway. A grant writing team is now working on a $500,000 grant to build a half-mile of multi-use pathway from Delmer Willis Road to Billy Mitchell Road in Frisco.
