The Outer Banks Hospital and Medical Group recognized Wendy Furlough, social worker/case manager in the quality department, as the 2021 Beacon of Health Employee of the Year. She was selected from the 2021 Employee of the Month recipients who are eligible for this prestigious award, stated a TOBH press release.

Furlough joined TOBH in March 2019 and has “consistently provided patients with excellent care and compassion,” the release continued.
