Not only does beach grass planting help to build the dunes, it helps build our community, noted the Town of Duck: “Each week, members of the community join forces to protect our environment, creating lasting friendships and making the Town of Duck a more special place.”

The next beach grass planting will take place at the Scarborough Lane access on Friday, December 13 at 1 p.m. Those who would like to join in should email Sandy Cross at scross@ducknc.gov to sign up for this planting and to be notified of future planting dates.
