Chili cook off winners announced

Winners from the 10th Annual Outer Banks HOG Chapter Chili Cook Off, held Saturday, February 23 at Outer Banks Harley-Davidson, have been announced. For the second year in a row, first place was awarded to Jenifer Rowler of Longboards, second place to HOG member Richard Quidley and third place went to HOG member Terry Gray.
The Outer Banks Hog Chapter recently delivered 65 lbs. of canned goods to the Lower Currituck Food Pantry in Grandy. On Valentine’s Day, the HOG Chapter held a membership dinner the cost of admission was two cans of food.
The Outer Banks HOG Chapter supports two local and one regional charities. They host the Annual Currituck Toy Run, now in its 11th year, the Lower Currituck Food Pantry and the American Gold Star Mothers, Hampton Roads Chapter. The primary mission of the Hampton Roads GSM is to assist veterans at the Hampton Veterans Hospital.
All are invited to attend a monthly meeting, held the second Thursday of each month at Outer Banks Harley-Davidson. Meetings are generally an hour in length and begin precisely at 6:30 p.m.
