Hatteras Methodist Women have two special events set for early November.

On Thursday, Nov. 7, the women will serve their Annual Turkey Dinner, featuring roasted turkey, dressing, green beans, mashed potatoes and desserts while available. Donations are accepted.

Serving starts at 5:30 p.m. and it is take-out only at the Hatteras Village Civic Center.

On Saturday, Nov. 9, Hatteras Methodist Women will host its annual Christmas Bazaar also at the Hatteras Village Civic Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

At the bazaar will be local artisan booths, desserts, pickles and other homemade goods. A lunch counter with hot dogs, chips, water and soft drinks, and apple dumplings will be offered. Apple dumplings may be pre-ordered by contacting Kelley Van Druten at 252-475-4955. Dumplings are $7 for a four-dumpling container.
