Bernard Lee Gallop, of Harbinger, born July 14, 1931, died September 18, 2024. He was born in Norfolk, Va. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Memorial service with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. on November 1 at Twiford Colony Chapel in Manteo. Private burial will take place at Powells Point Christian Church Cemetery.
