Associate in Arts in Teacher Preparation ~ Spring 2024 Graduate
Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Early College Graduate
What university do you intend to transfer to? Meredith College
What is your intended major? Education
What are your future goals? To earn a doctorate in English education.
How did COA help set you on a path to achieving your goals? COA has helped me on my path to achieving my goal two years early. I was fortunate to be an Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Early College (ECPEC) student, which allowed me to graduate at 18 with an associate’s degree and a high school diploma. COA helped me set clear goals, meet new people, and ultimately helped me find my love for education, for which I am forever grateful.
My years at COA were challenging, but I’m happy that I stuck with it and achieved my associate’s degree in teacher preparation. I’ve learned many valuable things from COA, and I’m happy to say that I will carry the knowledge and memories forever. I would like to say that to whomever is reading this – life isn’t always easy, and that’s okay. COA has taught me that if you ever get knocked down, dust the dirt off and continue on your path. It’s your life, so do something amazing with it.
