Owen Lauber and his girlfriend Kate Walden display Lauber’s custom woodworking projects at the opening of his show at Dare Arts. From tables to benches to vases to toys, each of Lauber’s handcrafted items is a work of art. Though he began woodworking as a hobby in 2017 in New York, it developed into a full-time job during the Covid pandemic when he was home. Much of the wood he uses is sourced locally.
