More than 60 students, teachers and parents from Westmoore Elementary School (K-8) enjoyed three fun programs while on a field trip to Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head on Tuesday, April 2.

Pictured are “ace anglers” from left Hunter Moore, Brooklyn Rayfield and Kaylee Williamson from teacher Christopher Pierce’s 7^th grade class.

In addition to pier fishing, they dissected squid and made then raced solar boats.

Rayfield said she liked to fish and eat French fries.
