Rodanthe, NC – Justin Lane O’Neal, age 39, of Rodanthe, NC, passed away on February 14, 2024. Born on September 19, 1984, in his beloved hometown of Rodanthe, he lived a life filled with dedication and hard work.

Justin was the owner and operator of Rising Tide Land Development, where his passion for building and creating flourished. His commitment to his work was evident in every project he undertook, leaving a lasting mark on the community he cherished.

Justin is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie Bowen O’Neal; and his children, Owen Lane O’Neal, Presley Nicole O’Neal, and Sailor Grace O’Neal. He is also survived by his parents, Virginia Midgett O’Neal and Joey Lane O’Neal; brother, Joey Lane O’Neal Jr.; nephew, Jacob O’Neal; aunt, Jonna Midgette and husband Robert; uncles, Jerald O’Neal, Irvin Midgett, and Stanley Midgett; his in-laws, Joel and Lisa Bowen; brother-in-law, DJ Bowen (Shana); niece Allie Bowen; and numerous cousins.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Justin at a funeral service on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at 1 p.m. at the Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station. Following the service, a graveside committal will take place in the O’Neal Family Cemetery, where Justin will be laid to rest.

Justin’s memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved him, as his legacy of hard work, dedication, and love for his family lives on in their hearts. May he rest in peace.
