Kitty Hawk woman arrested on drug charges

The Dare County Sheriff’s Office has reported the arrest of a Kitty Hawk woman for drug charges following a traffic stop.
According to a DCSO news release, on January 27, 2024 at around 8:25 p.m., deputies in the A-District conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Colington Road near Billy’s Seafood.
“During the stop a K-9 was deployed and alerted to the presence of a controlled substance. During the search of the vehicle an amount of Cocaine and Drug Paraphernalia were located and seized,” stated the release. “When they arrived at the jail a more detailed search of the driver was conducted and an amount of Cocaine and Psilocybin Mushrooms were located and seized.”
Alexis Chase Pashkow, 29, of Kitty Hawk, was arrested and charged with felony possession of cocaine (2X), felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, felony possession of schedule I controlled substance, felony possession of controlled substance on jail premises and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. According to DCSO, Pashkow was out on pretrial release at the time of the arrest.
The Kill Devil Hills Police Department assisted with their K-9 during the stop.
