Gail Ellen Kowalski, age 68, of Nags Head, NC, owner of Jewelry by Gail, formerly of North Hills, PA, on Saturday, January 6, 2024. Daughter of Al Kowalski and the late Charlotte Kowalski.

Beloved wife for 43 years of David Stewart; sister of Leslie Sherwin (David Nakles) and Mary Beth Twisdale (Michael); aunt of Glen and Philip Sherwin.

Family welcomed friends on Thursday, January 11, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Schellhaas Funeral Home, Inc., 388 Center Avenue, West View, PA 15229. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, St. Athanasius Church, 7 Chalfonte Ave. Pittsburgh, PA. 15229

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a local animal shelter or to SPCA, www.pspca.org/donate.

A Celebration of Life in Nags Head, the location, and the date will be announced at a later date.
