Reward offered for information on Guilford County murder

Governor Roy Cooper announced on December 20, 2023 that the State of North Carolina is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Jeffrey Alston, 29.
“On May 5, 2011, at approximately 2:49 a.m., Mr. Alston was found in his car suffering from a fatal gunshot wound on South Pearson Street near the intersection of Tuscaloosa Street in Greensboro. Mr. Alston’s death has been ruled a homicide,” stated a news release from the governor’s office.
