Calvin Monroe Harrell, 88, of Columbia, died November 6, 2023 at ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie. He was born May 24, 1935 in Tyrrell.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on November 10 at Malachi Chapel Free Will Baptist Church with reception to follow in the fellowship hall. Interment will be at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Malachi Chapel FWB Church, c/o Joyce James 2993 Hwy 94 South, Columbia, NC 27925 or to Alcoholic Anonymous, General Service Office of Alcoholics Anonymous Post Office Box 2407, James A.
