The Town of Nags Head is holding a community clean-up event at Dowdy Park on Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 9 a.m. until noon.

“Our community is coming together to make a positive impact on our local environment, and we need YOUR help! Join us for a fun and fulfilling morning of cleaning up our community,” stated the event announcement. “We will provide all the necessary cleaning supplies, so just bring your enthusiasm, energy, and a smile! Let’s make our community shine.”

After the clean-up, there will be food and beverages for all participants to enjoy together.

“It’s a great opportunity to socialize, meet your neighbors, and reflect on the positive change we made,” stated the announcement. “Feel free to invite your friends and family. The more, the merrier! Together, we can create a cleaner, greener, and more connected community.”
