Nags Head, NC – Kuchie Scott, 91, of 2611 S. Pilot Lane, Nags Head, NC, died June 19, 2023. Born in Portsmouth, VA on April 21, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Golay and Frances L. Boyden.

Kuchie and her late husband Ronnie owned and operated the Skylark Restaurant in Nags Head. She was an early member of the Sea Hags Fishing Team and the Nags Head Surf Fishing Club.

She is survived by two sons, Joe White of Nags Head, NC and Bill White of El Paso, TX; grandchildren, Kelly Kranker, Erin White, Lauren White, Michael White, and Nathaniel White; and great-grandchildren, Kennedy and Kamryn Kranker.

A celebration of Kuchie’s life will be held at her home on Saturday, July 1, 2023, from 1 until 3 p.m. to be followed by a private event at the Outer Banks Fishing Pier.
