Members of the Roanoke Island Woman’s Club met on May 24 at Blue Water Grill to celebrate scholarship winner Kamryn Whiteside. Gifts for her college dorm were presented.
Whiteside is a soon-to-be-graduate of Manteo High School and was the 2023 recipient of the Roanoke Island Woman’s Club scholarship.
She will be attending UNC Chapel Hill in the fall.
