Currituck County Schools selects Sharolyn Harry-Clark as new Central Elementary School principal

Currituck County Schools has announced the selection of Sharolyn Harry-Clark as the new principal of Central Elementary School for the upcoming 2023-24 school year, effective July 1, 2023.
“Ms. Harry-Clark has devoted 28 years to public education and brings a wealth of experience to the district,” stated a Currituck County Schools press release. “She has taught both at the elementary and middle school levels followed by 16 years of service as a school level administrator and district level director. Her most recent position was at the district level as the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support and Social Emotional Learning Coordinator at Lexington City Schools.”
Harry-Clark’s educational background includes a bachelor of arts in elementary education from Southern University and A&M College and a master of education in administration and supervision from the University of Louisiana at Hammond.
“Currituck County Schools welcomes Ms. Harry-Clark to her new position and wishes Mrs. Farris the best in her future endeavors,” stated the release.
