The North Carolina Education Lottery has reported a six-figure win on a scratch-off ticket by a Wayne County woman.
Pamela Davis, of Goldsboro, tried her luck on a $30 scratch-off and won a $100,000 prize. She purchased her lucky $5,000,000 Ultimate ticket at the Speedway on East New Hope Road in Goldsboro.
Davis arrived at lottery headquarters on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 to collect her prize and, after required state and federal tax withholdings, took home $71,259.
The $5,000,000 Ultimate game debuted in March with five $5 million prizes and 15 $100,000 prizes. All five $5 million prizes and 12 of the $100,000 prizes remain to be claimed.
