Kellie Smith Baum, 52, of Wanchese, died March 26, 2023 at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville. She was born in Carteret County on March 20, 1971.

A brief committal service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on April 1 in Cudworth Cemetery. A viewing and visitation at Twiford Colony Chapel will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. prior to the service. Celebration of life will be held June 10 at Roanoke Island Christian Fellowship.
