The Dare County Sheriff’s Office has reported the arrest of a Virginia woman on drug charges following a Rodanthe traffic stop.

According to a DCSO press release, on March 5, 2023 at around 10:11 p.m., deputies working the C-District assisted NC State Highway Patrol with a traffic stop near South Beach Lane on NC Hwy 12 in Rodanthe.

“During the stop the vehicle was searched and an amount of Marijuana, MDMA, and Drug Paraphernalia were located and seized,” stated the release.

Kimberly A Kronsberg, 28, of Richmond, Va., was arrested and charged with felony possession of a schedule I controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Kronsberg was given a $2,000 secured bond.
