The First Flight Nighthawks led from tip off to final buzzer, defeating Manteo in a varsity basketball match-up on Friday night in Manteo.

The Nighthawks’ fast-paced game combined with a dominating three point shooting exhibition took Manteo out of the game early. Manteo trailed by 30 points at end of the third quarter and were never able to make a serious run.

The final score was First Flight 71, Manteo 46.
