Veterans celebration at Cape Hatteras Secondary delayed

Due to weather concerns, the Nov. 9 Veterans Celebration at Cape Hatteras Secondary School was postponed one week.

The new date for the program is now Wednesday, Nov. 16.

“This is a decision that was made out of an abundance of caution for our veterans and guests,” writes Keith Durham, event organizer.

On Wednesday, Nov. 16, veterans are invited for breakfast in the Cape Hatteras Secondary campus cafeteria at 9 a.m.

At 10 a.m., the veterans recognition program will start in the Cape Hatteras Secondary gymnasium.
