Dare County Board of Education approved its monthly meeting schedule for the 2022-23 school term at its meeting June 14, 2022

All meetings begin at 5 p.m. All but one meeting is on the second Tuesday of each month. The April 2023 meeting is scheduled for the third Tuesday because the second Tuesday is during spring break.

Sept. 13, 2022, First Flight Middle School

Oct. 11, 2022, Cape Hatteras Elementary

Nov. 8, 2022, Manteo Elementary School

Dec. 13, 2022, Manteo High School;  Board tours Manteo schools, maintenance, transportation facilities

Jan. 10, 2023, First Flight High School; Board tours First Flight Schools

Feb. 14, 2023, Nags Head Elementary School; Board tours Kitty Hawk and Nags Head Elementary Schools

March 14, 2023, Cape Hatteras Secondary School; Board tours Cape Hatteras Secondary and Elementary Schools

April 18, 2023, Manteo Middle School

May 9, 2023, First Flight Elementary School

June 13, 2023, Kitty Hawk Elementary School

Board tours start at 11 a.m. or as advertised.
