Community cookout set for Friday in Rodanthe

On Friday evening, May 27, a community cookout is planned at the Rodanthe-Waves-Salvo Community Center, located across NC 12 from this Historic Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station.

The fun starts at 6 p.m. with hamburgers, hot dogs and snow cones along with horseshoes, cornhole, volleyball and music.

The event is sponsored by Fair Haven and Clark’s Bethel United Methodist churches.
