Southern Shores – Joseph Bradley Noble or “Joey” as he was best known died unexpectedly at his home October 29, 2018. He was 26. Joey was born in Elizabeth City on May 11, 1992. He was raised between Virginia and the Outer Banks.
Joey loved animals, fishing, Carolina Panthers football, cooking and he studied Tibetan philosophy extensively. He was employed in many capacities, including masonry, flooring and construction. He loved spending time with his family, pets and friends.
Joey is survived by his parents, Brad Noble of Nags Head and Christina Strayer of Clayton, NC; two brothers, Ian Scarborough and Skylar Scarborough both of the Outer Banks; two sisters, Haley Noble and Allie Allen both of Clayton; his grandparents, Virgil and Toni Lanning of Southern Shores; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, friends and, last but not least, his furry companion Calypso.
A celebration of Joey’s life will be held at the Gallop Funeral Services Chapel in Nags Head, Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 2 p.m. Friends and family may view one-hour prior. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joey’s name may be made to the Coastal Humane Society at donate@obxcoastalhumanesociety.org.
