Kindergarten registration for the 2022-23 school year is now open for all Dare County elementary schools. Go to bit.ly/3NQtXQ8 to register. For those who need assistance with the application, tutorial videos are available in both English and Spanish.

To enroll in kindergarten, children must be five years old on or before August 31, 2022.

The majority of the application can be completed online, however some items will need to be provided to schools, including a copy of the birth certificate, proof of residency and the North Carolina physical form complete with immunizations (if already completed). Students will not be formally enrolled until all information has been received by the individual school.

Those interested in participating in the Spanish Dual Language Immersion program should follow the prompts located within the application to opt-in.
