Several First Flight High School students earned recognition as either an AP Scholar or AP Scholar with Honors and were recognized at the January meeting of the Dare County Board of Education.
An AP Scholar is a student who receives a 3 or higher on three or more AP exams while an AP Scholar with honors is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.
Recognized at the meeting were Mason Gates, AP Scholar; Damien Gregory, AP Scholar; Allegra Mackenzie-Reece, AP Scholars with Honors; Maggie McNinch, AP Scholar; Reagan Minnich, AP Scholar; Ben Tonneson, AP Scholar and Dennis Wang, AP Scholars with Honors.
