Dusten William Abbott, 40, of Manteo, died suddenly January 27, 2022. Dusten was born September 30, 1981 in Edenton. He was the son of Ray Abbott Sr. and Michelle Congleton.
In addition to his parents, Dusten is survived by son Ean William Abbott and daughter Madison Brooke Abbott; brothers Douglas Ray Abbott (Lara), Shannon Abbott (Sherri), Ray Abbott Jr. (Brandi), Cliff Abbott (Carley) and their daughter, Caylin Abbott; and sister Penny Marie “Sis” Abbott (Nate Midgett).
The family will honor Dusten’s preference for cremation. Memorial service will be held February 6 at 3 p.m. at Roanoke Island Christian Fellowship. Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with arrangements. gallopfuneralservices.com
