Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) students from JP Knapp Early College, Currituck County High School and Moyock Middle School traveled to East Carolina University in Greenville on January 13, 2022 to participate in the FBLA Regional Competition.
The FBLA Regionals is a competition between local chapters of FBLA in North Carolina. Regional competitions consist of many different business-related events, ranging from tests on business law to math, public speaking and computer science.
Students compete against other FBLA chapters throughout the state to earn medals and certificates, as well as the chance to advance in competition. FBLA enhances students’ experience in CTE business courses and also prepares them for future careers. “Thanks to teachers Julie West from JP Knapp, Andrew Knott from CCHS and Megan Frazier from Moyock MS for providing the opportunity for students to participate in these competitions,” stated a news release from Currituck County Schools.
Eligible students will now start preparing for the state competition to be held in March in Greensboro.
