From spring to winter, The Elizabethan Gardens is thankful for support from Dominion Energy. Earlier last year, Dominion supplied white pine seedlings as part of a donation to support the company’s initiative Project Plant It!, an environmental stewardship program that promotes planting trees and learning about the benefits of trees to the ecosystem. And this winter, The Gardens was pleased to receive special funding for their WinterLights holiday event, which helped to keep the season bright for visitors to the beloved yuletide tradition.
“We truly appreciate Dominion Energy and their support of our gardens throughout the year,” remarked Linda Davenport, president of The Elizabethan Gardens’ Board of Governors.
Over the years, the Dominion Energy Foundation has partnered to help The Gardens by supporting various cultural and educational activities and improvements.
Davenport is grateful on behalf of The Elizabethan Gardens for their continual support: “We thank Dominion for being a valuable community partner and helping us in our mission to be good stewards of The Gardens and the natural world we appreciate here every day.”
