Roanoke Island Garden Club to decorate Manteo sites, helpers welcome

Members of the Roanoke Island Garden Club are scheduled to gather at the Maritime Boat Museum November 27 at 9 a.m. to assist the Town of Manteo with decorating various sites.
On November 4, club members delivered wreaths to businesses competing in the wreath decorating contest. Their wreaths are to be delivered to Town Hall by 3 p.m. on November 29 to be judged.
Decorating committee members and those interested in helping club members with this project should gather at the boat museum with clippers, wire cutters, gloves and seasonal greenery to supplement the decorations.
