Two sibling black bear cubs were photographed playing on the Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge recently.
USFWS reports that years of study has not answered the question, “why do bears play?” Like so many young animal species, bears spend a great deal of their youth playing.
“Visit the refuge. Keep an eye on the fields, canals and trees. If you see a cub or two you can bet that mother bear is not far away,” states USFWS.
