Did you create, bake, grow or preserve something amazing this year? Show it off at the Currituck Extension’s Handmade and Homegrown contest, held during the Currituck Farm Festival from 1-4 p.m. on Oct. 2, 2021.

Contest entries are being accepted for both junior and senior youth as well as adult divisions of arts and crafts, canning, baked goods, cake and cupcake decorating and homegrown items. Entry is free and Best in Show awards will be provided to the winners of each category. Winners will be announced and showcased on the main stage of the Currituck Fall Festival.

Register for the Currituck Fall Festival at https://currituckfarmfest21.eventbrite.com, then finish the application by completing the rules and entry form go.ncsu.edu/currituckhandmade2021. Entries must be submitted to the Currituck County Extension Office for judging by Sept. 30 at 4:30 p.m. For more information, call 252-232-2261 or email adam_formella@ncsu.edu.
