Redistricting hearing set in Elizabeth City

North Carolina’s General Assembly has set up committees to tackle redistricting of federal and state election districts.
The committees have scheduled 13 hearings, one in each current Congressional district.
The hearing for northeast North Carolina is Tuesday, Sept. 14 at 5 p.m. at Elizabeth City State University.
The hearing will be conducted at the K.E. White Center 1704 Weeksville Rd., Elizabeth City.
In-person sign up to speak begins at 4 p.m.

Each speaker may speak for up to two minutes. On-line sign up closes at 1 p.m., Sept. 14.
