Cape Hatteras Secondary’s Sandlot baseball Tournament is underway this Friday and Saturday. The schedule has changed.

On Friday afternoon, March 9, Cape Hatteras Secondary takes on Cleveland High School at 5 on the Buxton campus baseball diamond.

On Saturday, Cape Hatteras will play against Currituck County at noon.

A Cancer Awareness event is scheduled around 2 o’clock. Join the teams to Knock Cancer out of the Park.

At 3 p.m., Cleveland and Currituck will play.

An awards ceremony happens around 5 p.m. on Saturday.

The tournament is collecting canned food for the Hatteras Island Food Pantry.

The weather looks to be sunny, but the Buxton field gets chilly with wind off Pamlico Sound. Bring warm clothes and blankets and folding chairs.
