Two fisheries funding committees meet Friday

The North Carolina Marine Fisheries Commission Commercial Resource Fund Committee and the Funding Committee for the N.C. Commercial Fishing Resource Fund will meet jointly by web conference on Feb. 12 at 1:30 p.m.

Public comment will not be accepted during the meeting. Members of the public may submit written comments to the commission online until 5 p.m., Feb. 10 through an online format that can be reached by going to deq.nc.gov/commercial-fishing-resource-funding-committees-comment-form.
Public comment will not be accepted through email.
On the agenda are economic impact analysis brief starting 2 p.m.; review and vote on recurring DMF funding opportunities scheduled for 3:15 p.m.; and discussion on public relations project material usage at 3:45 p.m.; and at the end of the meeting an update on CFRF flounder tagging and issues from committee members.
