Currently residing at Peak Resources in Nags Head, Laura Gilbert “Lolly” Tupper was born in Utica, NY on November 14, 1920.

Gregarious and fun-loving, her life has been filled with family and travel, work and volunteering.  Her love for animals, especially dogs, has been evident throughout her entire life. Gardening has been another passion of hers.

In 2006, Lolly relocated from upstate New York to the Outer Banks to be closer to kin. This move was also fueled by fond memories of the Croatan Inn, which the Tupper family owned and operated from 1969 through 1974.

In her mid-eighties and still wishing to make a difference, Lolly started volunteering at the The Elizabethan Gardens, a joy that lasted until just a few years ago. The folks at the Gardens no doubt remember her homemade brownies.

On this very special occasion of her 100th birthday, her many friends and family members near and far – especially sons Bob, Rick and Tom – wish her a joyful and memorable celebration.
