Midgette proposes pound net around Hog Island Bay

Billy Gaither Midgette Jr., of Wanchese, proposes to set one pound net in Pamlico Sound in vicinity of Hog Island Bay.

The proposed set No. is 202005. This set will be for other finfish and will be about 68 yards with one pound.

Public comments relative to the proposed pound net set must be received prior to Sunday, July 26, 2020. If it is deemed necessary, the fisheries director may hold a public meeting after the comment period has ended to take additional public comment on the proposed pound net set.
