Gov. Roy Cooper has appointed Fay Davenport Boyd of Columbia to the North Carolina Credit Union Commission. Boyd will serve as a public member on the commission.

Boyd currently serves as chief judge of the Tyrrell County Board of Elections. Boyd has also served on numerous boards including Tyrrell County Rural Health and Tyrrell County Board of Social Services.
