Dr. Thomas McGrady, owner of Sunshine Family Pharmacy in Duck, has announced a free delivery service for prescriptions for clients from Kill Devil Hills to Corolla. The delivery service is available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“We are offering this service to help with social distancing for our clients,” said McGrady. “Everyone needs to limit their outside travel time during this COVID-19 pandemic.”

Patients can have their doctor call in the prescription directly to Sunshine Family Pharmacy at 252-715-0170 or have their current pharmacy transfer the needed medications to Sunshine, which accepts most major insurance, including Tricare.

“If we can reduce one less trip for our seniors,” said McGrady, “we will have saved our patients the additional exposure of COVID-19 here on the OBX.”

Sunshine Family Pharmacy is located at 1187 Duck Road.
