We found your February 12, 2020 Opinion piece by Mr. D.G. Martin using bible verses to be a creative approach to protest and intimidate Duke University speaker Ambassador John Bolton. For the past several years, academics, students and leftist media usually encourage audiences to shout down and picket speakers they oppose. Cherry picking bible verses to support the democrat-socialist ideology must be a new low even for leftist media persons. We can only imagine anyone using bible verses in opposition to Mr. Martin’s democrat-socialist ideology would be accused of using hate speech. The Coastland Times can do better than what we read this week.
