STEM at Manteo Middle School is “a float” with this exciting boat building project.

The vessels were hand crafted by students using molds and the fabrication method. Thanks were expressed to Paxton Co., Ogelsby Ventures, Blue Water Supply Co. and boat crafter Juan Resendez for their donations and support.

This project was under the direction of STEM teacher Kelsey Oglesby. Here, Oglesby gives instructions to students as they fabricate their boats.
