Pamela Sue Wise Creef, 72, of Stumpy Point, died November 23, 2019, at her home.

Born in Durham on April 5, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Mabel Shelton and Harold Wise and Irene Best.

Pam had an unconditional love for Jesus and her family, especially her grandchildren, who often looked to her for her wisdom. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting.

Pamela is survived by sons Harold L. Wise (Sarah) and Wes Creef (Nikki); grandchildren Carson M. Creef, Averi D. Creef, Emerson T. Creef, Lilly D. Creef, Ruth Dubrowski (Matt), and Stephen Stetson (Katelyn); one great-grandson; siblings Buddy Shelton, Bobbie Best Cook (Mark) of Apex; William Dean Best (Jackie) of Walnut Cove; Joseph Parker Best (Alyson) of Greensboro; Hudson Best of Wilmington; Mary Best (widow of James Milton Ellington) of Greensboro; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Robert Sanders Creef; daughter Wendi; and sibling Cindy.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on November 29 at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shiloh United Methodist Church for storm repairs (256 Bayview Drive, Stumpy Point, NC 27978).
